11,000,000 NOW WORKING (By Telegraph-Press Assn.-Copyright) Received Monday, 9.50 p.m. . NEW YORK, April 26. Independent reports of the National Association of Manufacturers and the Reserve Board placed the number employed in manufacturing industries on April 1 at 11,000,000, approximately the same as 1929. A total of 3,310,000 had found employment since 1933, and between February 15 and March 15, 1937, 305,000 unemployed •were re-employed. The association urged a Federal census of unemployed.
