NEW ZEALAND BUTTER.
JAPANESE TASTE DEVELOPING. (By Telegraph-Press Assn.--Copyright) (Received Sunday, 9. 20 p.m.) TOKIO, April 24. The Domei News Agency reports that imports of New Zealand butter are increasing despite the high freight and duty. For example, the .Melbourne Maru, leaving Auckland on Wednesday, is bringing 260 tons. The Finance Minister, Mr. Yiiki, has announced that the Government is ready to reduce tariffs by reciprocal agreements.
