He declared: "I say to ail who see a last chance of overthrowing Germany in murder and desperate attempts on our lives that the passionate love of the entire people forms a wall of defence around the leader and his I trusted followers. Woe to him who plays with fire." All stations broadcast General Goering's speech, but the official news agency omitted this portion.
