GREYMOUTH PARALYSIS CASE.
MARRIED MAN OF 45 YEARS (By Telegraph—Press Association.) GREYMOUTH, Last Night. A married man, 45, a resident of Blaketown, was admitted to Greymouth Hospital to-day from Blackball where he was working. The ease is diagnosed as positive paralysis of right leg. His condition is satisfactory. POSITIVE OAMARU CASE OAMARU, Feb. 24. A suspected case of infantile paralysis was admitted to the public hospital yesterday from the town area. The patient is a girl of nine years. It has now been diagnosed as positive, ANOTHER CASE IN SOUTHLAND INVERCARGILL, Last Night. A girl aged three, residing at Invercargill, was admitted to hospital tonight suffering from infantile paralysis in a mild form. SOUTHLAND SCHOOLS TO REMAIN CLOSED WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Minister of Education and Health, Hon. P. Fraser, stated to day that all schools in the Southland area would remain closed for an additional week owing to the increase in the incidence of infantile paralysis in the district. They will now not open until March S.
