Miss L. Sutherland, captain of the Fijian hockey team, was bom in Pahiatua, and left that town in 1914, at the age of 3 years.

The Governor-General and Lady Galway will leave Auckland on Wednesday morning to pay an official visit to Cambridge, subsequently proceeding to Rotorua. On Thursday their Excellencies will leave for Hastings and on .Monday continue their journey to Wellington, where they will go into residence for the duration of the Parliamentary session.
