CATHOLIC CATHEDRAL JUBILEE AT DUNEDIN.

SPECIAL SERVICES HELD (By Telegraph—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Last Night. The golden jubilee of the dedication of St. Joseph’s Catholic Cathedral was celebrated here to-day, when special services were conducted by leading clergy of the Catholic Church in New Zealand. In the morning celebration Pontificial High Mars was performed by Bishop Whyte, cf Dunedin, and Archbishop O’Shea, of Wellington, presided. Bishop Brodie, of Christchurch, and a largo number of Monsignori and priests were in the sanctuary. The sermon was delivered by Bishop Liston, of Auckland. At the evening service Bishop Whyte welcomed the new metropolitan, Archbishop O’Shea, who replied.
