The winners of the events at tho Hawke's Bay tennis championships, which were concluded over the weekend, were:— Men's singles: J. C. Charters beat J. W. Gunn, (i—l, G—o. Women's singles: Mrs R, Swarm beat Mrs Mawson, G—3, o—2. B'oys' singles: S. Hooper beat R. S. Slater, (s—l, (s—l. Girls* singles.- Miss J. Bottrell beat Miss K. Pears, (i —-1, 7 —5. Men's doubles: J. C. Charters and E. A. Pearce beat F. M. B. Fisher and J. N. Lowry, 4 —(5, G—3, G —3. Women's doubles: Miss E. Plunnner and Mrs Swann beat Mrs Mawson and Miss Bradley, G —2, G—3. Mixed doubles: McCarthy and Miss Whisker beat Madden and Mrs Mawson, 2—G, G—3, G—l.
