TO BE REINFORCED. TRANSPORTING BIG ARMATURE (By Telegraph-Press Assn.-Copyright) (British Official Wireless.) Received Tuesday, 7 p.m. RUGBY, Nov. 25. A difficult transport problem results from a big electric order executed foi the steel works at Cardiff by the Eng lish Electric Company at Stafford. An armature for the mill weighs 73 tons, and special arrangements have been made for its conveyance b£ road on a 14-wheeler articulated lorry.

In some places the roadways will have to be specially reinforced with steel plating while the lorrry passes to protect the water mains and cables.
