TUESDAY'S SALE. Reporting upon the usual weekly stock sale held at the Levin yards yes- • terday, the Xew Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd. (Inc. in England) state that they offered a small yarding of sheep together with a good yarding of cattle and a very large entry of pigs to a good attendance of buyers. Sales were made at , the following prices:— Sheep: Medium fat sliorn hoggets, 22s fid. Cattle: Fat cows, ex-dairy, light, £3 to £4; medium weights, £4 ss. to £6; light fat Jersey heifers, £4 to £5 ss; .small vealers, £1 15s -to £1 ISs; store cows, £1 4s to £2 ss; low condition 2year run heifers, £3 10s; ditto yearlings, 3.15; small yearling S.II. steers, £3 2s; coloured yearling dairy heifers, £1 !)s; low conditioned Jersey cows with calves, £2 5s to £2 lfis; yearling Jersey bulls, £2 15s to £0 ss; potter bulls, £1 10s to £2 ss; springing heifers, £4 5 s-; Pigs: Baconers, £2 9s to £2 15s; porkers, £1 10s to £2 ."is; choppers, 15s to 325; stores, 20s to 295; weaners, 8s 6d to 16s. __ 23- -,f
