Ern Jacobs, of Wellington (12st.) scored a points decision over Jack Ford, of Masterton (11.8) in a teurounds professional light-heavyweight faring contest. It was a first-class and 'willing fight all the way and Ford, who made his debut in the professional Yanks, put up a great display, Jacobs,
however, was superior in every department and he won with a comfortable margin. Black Hope to Meet Schmelling Received Sunday, 9.50 p.m. NEW YORK, July 13. Arrangements have been completed for a fifteen rounds bout between Louis, the 21-year-old black conqueror of Primo Camera, and Hans Schmelling at the Polo Grounds on September 18. The promoter is Mike Jacobs.
