McKenzie and M. F. Nicholls as follow: —Full-back, J. Hemi.(Wairarap'a); three-quarters, N. Ball (Wellington), C. Stringfcllow (Wairarapa), A. Wright (Wellington); five-eighths, W. Langdon (Wellington), R. Devine (Wairarapa); half-back, J. Sadler (Wellington) 1 ; back row, A. Stevenson (Wellington); middle row,' E. Barry (Wellington), J. Butler (Wellington), N, Trass (Wairarapa), G. Laing (Wairarapa); front row, R. Hull (Wellington), A. Lambourn (Wellington), P. Leahy (Wellington.) Emergencies: J. McNeile (Wellington) forward; E. The following trial team has been selected to represent Wanganui-Tara-naki-Manawatu - Horowhenua against the combined Wcllington-Wairarapa fifteen in the All Black trial match: — Full-back, A. Collins (Taranaki); three-quarters, Bradley (Manawatu), Campbell (Wanganui), Edwards (Taranaki); five-eighths, Campbell (Horowhenua), C. Brown (Taranaki), first; half-back, Gudgeon (Taranaki); back of serum, McKenzie (Manawatu); middle row, Mclntyre (Wanganui), Clark (Taranaki), Stcere (Wanganui), Merwood (Horowhenua); front row, Henry (Manawatu), Fowler (Taranaki), Pastier (Taranaki). Reserves: Bishop (Horowhenua), forward; Morgan (Wanganui), back. In view of the fact that BullockDouglas’s capabilities are known to the New Zealand selectors and in consequence of the great number of young three-quarters offering, the selectors have omitted him and recommended that the New Zealand selectors give him such trial as they desire.
