In the covered court tennis quarterfinals, Borotra defeated Glasser, 6—4, 4—6, 6 —4, and Prenn defeated Merlin, 6—o, 6—o. The latter has not fully recovered from a recent motor accident.

In#the doubles Martin Legeay and Lesueur defeated Stedman and Malf roy, 6 —4, 6—4. In the mixed doubles Lesuer and Mile. Barbier defeated Stedman and Miss Cunningham, 6 —3, 6 —3. De Borman and Mile. Adamson defeated Malfroy and Mile. Adamoff, 6—3, 4—6, 6—3.
