Eight alpinists arc dead and sexeiar injured as the result of storms. ioprential rains were sweeping ecn ia .Switzerland during the week-end ■an--thrcc climbers from Basle fell te their deaths from the Galenstock Peak. The bodies of two Italians were found on iMountrose. Two tourists arc missing on G-lctschorn and hopes their survival have been abandoned. Another climber died from exhaustion.
