No Time "to Use Parachutes
Received Wednesday, 7 p.m. LONDON, May 2.
The occupants of a lonely farmhouse, a few labourers, saw a machine flying south and another west. They then heard a crash like a thunderclap. All the victims were found dead in their aeroplanes. They had not had time to utilise their parachutes. The labourers had to dodge falling fragments. The 'planes made huge holes in the ground, the engines taking four hours to extricate.
