HUNT CLUB DANCE.

TORY SUCCESSFUL FUNCTION. The dance held in the Ohau Institute Hall last evening under the auspices of the Levin Branch of the Manawatn Hunt Club, proved to be an outstanding social success, the many visitors from Levin, Manakau,. Otaki and Te Soro spending a particularly enjoyable time dancing to the lilt of Kikihana's orchestra. A much appreciated extra ■was supplied by Miss G. Wills, of Otaki, and two solos were rendered by Miss Edna Parton, of Wellington. The Hall had been prettily decorated for the occasion and the capable M.C., Mr H. J. McLeavey, kept proceedings going •with a swing until the curtain fell. Two novelty dances held were won by Miss M. Harper and Mr W. Swainson, and Miss D. Park and Mr A. -Jofelin. The Club is to be congratulated on the complete arrangements »ade. ___
