Gold-mining Industry in New Zealand

GEE AT INTEREST ABROAD. WELLINGTON, Last Night. Great interest is being taken in the New Zealand gold-mining industry abroad at the present time, and in Paris, in particular, this is very striking, according to Mr A. H. Williams, a mining engineer, of London, who arrived at Wellington by the Makura today and will spend a month or so m New Zealand. . Mr Williams hopes to investigate at first hand the gold-mining industry m this country. He will see the Prime Minister and Minister of Mines in this connection. Interest in New Zealand gold was so strong in Paris that it surpassed that in the West African industry, he said, in expressing the view that there was a future for gold-miming in the Dominion.
