Scotties Part With Their Pennies
WOT ENTHUSED WITH WALKER-VARGA MATCH DUNEDIN, Last Night. George Walker defeated Count Varga by two falls to one at the Town Hall last night. Varga obtained the first fall i ; the third round with a body press following a series of head locks. Walker evened in the sixth round with a submission fall from a Boston crab and secured the deciding fall in the following round with a step over toe hold rnd leg lock. The bout was slow and produced little in the way of thrills. For the first time in a wrestling contest in Dunedin, pennies were thrown into the ring by the spectators who evidently were not satisfied with the display given by the two men.
