NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER AMENDING A BY-LAW. pUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of the Horowhpnua Electric Power Board, held on Tuesday, the l'Sth day of July, 1933, the following resolution was passed:— "In exercise of the powers conferred on it by "The Electric, Power Boards Act, 1925," the Horowhenua Electric Power' Board hereby makes by Special Order a By-law under "The Electric Power Boards Act, 1925," to amend the By-law of the said Board made and passed on the 18th day of September, 1923-, and intituled "Horowhenua Electric Power Board By : law, 1923." The object and purport of the proposed amendment of the By-law are as follows: —That Section 19 of Part 1 of the said By-law be amended by deleting therefrom the words "one pound (£1)" and inserting in substitution therefor the words "an amountequalling the estimated consumption of electricity for the bi-monthly period, but not exceeding £2 (two pounds)." A full copy of the amendment of this By-law is deposited at the offices of the Horowhenua Electric Power Board, Levin; Hutt County Council, Wellington; Horowhenua County Council, Levin; Manawatu County Council, Sanson; Levin, Shannon, Foxton, and Otaki Borough Councils; and is •open for inspection of the public during office hours until the 22nd day of •AUGUST, i933 ( 'j on (which , y day the Special Order will be submitted for .confirmation at an ordinary meeting of the Horowhenua Electric Power .Board to, be held' at 11 a.m. at the Board's offices, Bath Street, Levin.
