Personal Intrigue Suggested as Cause
BRITISH ENGINEER WHO WAS EXPELLED FROM TURKEY Received Sunday, 7 p.m. SOFIA, Aug. 5. Lander, the representative of Metro-politan-Vickers, who was expelled from Turkey, has arrived. He is nonplussed at his expulsion and suggests that the only reason is personal intrigue hatched against him w.hile on leave in England. The British Ambassador at Istanbul has communicated with the Turkish Government on the subject.
