TIRE CAUSES BIG LOSS OF PROPERTY Received Sunday, 7 p.m. ATHENS, Aug. 5. Fire devastated historic Corintih, destroying 500 houses and shops, mostly of wood and built after the earthquake of 1929. The panic-stricken populace fled to the beach and 5000 are homeless. \
