FINAL SCREENING TO-NIGHT

EDDIE CANTOR IN "THE KID FROM SPAIN."

A large and appreciative audience were in attendance at the Regent Theatre last night, and it would be hard to find "a single patron who did not thoroughly enjoy the entertainment offered. Eddie Cantor makes but one picture a year, saving his energy, his voice, and his laughs for one single big effort. You will revel in the wonderful sparkling humour —you will explode with laughter over the king of comedy with the banzo eyes, his mincing gestures, and clever quips. Undoubtedly this can safely be recomtaended as one of the outstanding pictures of the year.

Coming Thursday and Friday, matinee Thursday, "Jacks the Boy" featuring Jack Hulbert, Cicely Courtenidge, Winifred Shotter. Jack Hulbert, comedian of ''Sunshine Susie/' in another radiant outburst, a snappy symphony of mirth, melody, catchy songs, amusing dancing and delightful comedy. Following are some of the highlights of an English photoplay that compares with the very best that have ever been produced by the English studios. Included among the songs are "The Flies Crawled up the (Window," "I Want to Cling to Ivy." Some fine dancing by Jack Hulbert. Screamingly funny situations in Madame Tussuads "Waxworks." The whole thing goes with a hilarious swing, and a sparkle that lifts you out of yourself with sheer happiness, it is undoubtedly a fitting successor to "Sunshine Susie" and we know you will enjoy every minute of it, and be much happier for having witnessed it.
