YESTERDAY'S SALE AT LEVIN,
The yarding at Levin sale yesterday were smaller than usual but prices were mainly on a par with last week's, rates. The enquiry for beef is firm while springing dairy heifers and pigs were also in good demand. Prices'* realised were as. follows: Sheep: Fat ewes, 14s Id; fat wethers 14s 6d; fat lambs, 13s lid. Cattle: Prime fat cows £3 15s; fat do., £2, £2 2s, £2 3s; forward «ows, 30s, 9-ls, 32s 6d, 345; store do., 21s, 24s 6d 25s 6d 275. Bulls Q7s, 30s, £2 10s; heifers, r.w.b., 33s 6d, £2 2s <>d; springing heifers, £2 7s 6d, £4 ss, £5; dairy, cows, £2, £2 12s, £2 17s.
