Support for Hawke's Bay Strikers At a meeting of the Palmerston North branch of the Unemployed Workers' Movement last evening, called for the purpose of discussing the strike situation in the Hawke 's Bay district, it was unanimously resolved: "That this representative meeting of the unemployed workers of Palmerston North congratulate the Hawke's Bay relief workers on their stand and fight and assure them of our support especially in their demands for no camps and standard rates of pay on all essential works."
