Plague of Grasshoppers Obscures Sun
NATURE'S METHOD OF WHEAT RESTRICTION Received Sunday, 9.10 p.m. BEGIN A, July 3. Grasshoppers so thick that they obscured the sun coused Southern Saskatchewan to turn on the -lights at midday. The pests attacked the southern area crops in swarms, moving in clouds towards the north-west. It is impossible to estimate the damage.
