LEVIN PLUNKET SOCIETY.

TJie first monthly meeting of the new financial year of the Royal N.Z. Society for the Health of Women and Children (Levin "branch) was held on Monday, July 3rd. Mrs Park (President) was in the chair, and there were also present, Mesdames Sutton, Stannard, Inder, Keedwell, Percy, Blenkhorn, O ’Connor, Smaill, Smith, Mackenzie and Bartholomew (hon. sec.) Apologies 'were received from Mesdames Goldsmith, Todd, Pirani, Bevan, Miller, Foss and Gorringe. Votes of thanks were passed to D'r. Tweed for speaking at the annual meeting, to Br. and Mrs Thompson for entertaining 13r. and Mrs Tweed, to Mr G. D. Hamilton for assistance with the books, and to Mr Rimmer for free use of crockery for the annual meeting. The Nurse’s report was as follows:—■ LEVIN.
