SWINE FEVER.
PREVALENT IN ENGLAND. Swine fever, which has been causing considerable trouble in Wellington district in New Zealand, has broken out in parts of England. Last month no pigs were allowed in any public auction yard in Shropshire, Denbighshire, Flintshire, and parts of Cheshire owing to the prevalance of swine fever in these areas. The Ministry of Agriculture also declared that pigs may not be moved, except for immediate slaughter, without a license.
