EVEREST EXPEDITION TO RETURN HOME Received Saturday, 11.30 p.m. LONDON, June 30. Mr Butt-ledge, in a wireless message from Mt. Everest states that orders have been received to bring the expedition Home. Only Smythe, Shipton. Crawford, Brocklebank and himself are now fit to make a further attempt, but the heavy snow is unlikely to clear before October. The rest of the party needed a rest.
