PRISONERS SENTENCED.
WELLINGTON SUPREME COURT. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. The following prisoners were sentenced by Mr Justice Ostler to-day:— Percy Francis Simmiss, breaking, entering and theft' at Nelson, three 'years reformative detention. Percy Richard Fitzwilliam White, five charges of assault on young girls at, Gollingwood, three years’ Borstal treatment. Roger Kingston Anderson, forgery and uttering at Wellington, two years’ probation. James Sevan, assault on a young girl ’at Waipukurau, three years’ Borstal treatment. Trim HuataJhi, breaking, entering and theft at Otaki, two years’ probation. Desmond Thomas Connolly, breaking, entering and theft at Blenheim, two years’ probation. Another prisoner, Robert Landy, sent up from the Magistrate’s Court ■as having qualified for sentence as an habitual’ criminal, was so declared.
