Minting Our Own Coinage
WELLINGTON, Last Night. A request to be allowed to submit a quotation for minting Nen Zealand silver coinage has been received from a well-known Wellington engineering and engraving firm. The principal of this firm says New Zealand is quite capable of producing its own coinage and the plant is available. His firm has produced three-quarters of a million coins for the city milk department.
