A Great Tribute
SIR THOMAS SIDEY’S rUNERAIi. ' DUNEDIN, Last Night. A cortege over a mile long followed the remains of the late Sir Thomas Sidey to Anderson’s Bay cemetery, and the route was lisjed with spectators, testifying to the deceased’s huge personal popularity. Wreaths from all parts of New Zealand filled-two cars. The Minister of Health (the Hon. J. A. Young) represented the Government. The funeral oration was delivered by Professor Dickie, moderator-elect of the Presbyterian Church.
