Million Bales of Wool Per Year
JAPAN'S HUGE PURCHASES PROM AUSTRALIA WILL SOON MAKE MANCHURIA A WOOL BUYER . Received Wednesday, 10.45 p.m. SYDNEY, Dec. 21. Leading businessmen who returned to Sydney to-day from the East declared that Japan was now one of the largest buyers of Australian wool. They estimated that the purchases would soon reach a million bales per year. They were, convinced' that Japan's influence would soon lead to prosperity in Manchuria, which presently would be heeding Australian wool iu the same proportion as Japan.
