GANGSTER RIDDLED BY POLICE BULLETS Received Tuesday, 9.50 p.m. CHICAGO, Dec. 20. Frank Nifcti was killed when tie police raided gang headquarters in a city office building. Seven gangsters were present and lined up to the wall meekly enough until the officers noticed Nititi slip a small paper into his mouth and chew violently. A policeman leaped to snatch the paper, but Nitti drew a revolver. Ten shots were exchanged" before Ni'tti fell dead. The mysterious paper contained a list in code of the suspected names of persons marked down for death in the beer wars.
