SCALED IN 24 HOURS. (Sun Special). LONDON, September 6. The remarkable feat of climbing the highest mountain peaks in Wales, England and Scotland -within 24 hours ■was performed at the week-end by Mr Hall, a well-known racing motorist, and mountaineer. ' He began from the summit of Snowden (3560 feet, Wales) at midnight on Saturday. Descending with the aid of flares, he dashed 200 miles in a sports car to Scafell (3210 feet, Cumberland), which he ascended. He then raced another 200 miles to Ben Nevis (Inverness 4406 feet), and reached the top an hour before midnight on Sunday.
