Reducing Interest Rates
BROAD HINT TO BANKS Received Sunday, Midnight. SYDNEY, Sept. 4. The New South Wales State Government is shortly reducing the rate of interest on money leaned to municipal and other bodies. This is regarded as a gesture in the campaign of reducing costs and stimulating industry. . The banks are expected to follow suit.
