ENGLAND BEATS QUEENSLAND. Received Sunday, 5.5 p.m. BRISBANE, June 12. Playing a wonderful tenacious game, England, despite the loss of Thompson early in the match from concussion, and Horton in the second half, defeated Queensland by fifteen to ten. The English try-getters were Brogden, Eeetham and Adams (one try each), while Hodgson kicked throe goals. For Queensland Upton and Madsen scored and Upton and Laws kicked one goal each. The match was played before a crowd of fourteen thousand.
