Policeman Killed in Clash With Burglars

TWO OTHERS WOUNDED San Francisco Press Broadcast SAN FRANCISCO, June 9. A policeman was killed, two other officers were wounded, and an asserted burglar was wounded late- last night in an attempted burglary of a residence at 256 James Drive. Two patrol cars were summoned from the bureau of inspectors and the Hall of Justice when it was reported that there were robbers in a house listed as being occupied by Mrs. Bert Nels.on. Nothing was heard from the patrol cars until an emergency call for two ambulances was' received. It was stated that one police officer was dead, two wounded and an alleged burglar was in a dying condition.
