j Received Friday, 9.25 p.m. j MONTREAL, Feb. 26. ■ For the first time in the North American continent, a thousand point break was made here to-day by Lindrum in an exhibition of billiards with New- , man. The break stood at 1149 unlinj ished when play closed for the night. Scores were: Newman (receiving 3000), 5283; Lindrum, 6453. Lindrum also had a break of 598.
