LIFE-SAVING DEMONSTRATION.

. Advice (lias been received (by, Mr F. E. Leddra, life-saving tutor for the Levin Swimming Club, that under the auspices of the Manawatu Head Centre of the Royal Life-saving Spciety, a team will leave Palmerston North about one o’clock on Saturday afternoon to give a demonstration at the Boys’ 'Training Farm, Weraroa. As the Palmerston team is composed of experts, the demonstration should be of practical interest to all swimmers and candidates for life-saving awards. At the*' Farm there is an excellent concrete swimming-pool, with good facilities for the display.
