SHIP CLAUSES
REVERSION TO OLD APPRENTICE-
(By Telegraph—Press Association. - ) WANGANUI, Feb. 25. The Master Builders’ Federation conference, sitting in Wanganui, passed a resolution that representations be made to the Prime Minister, urging the abolition of the Apprentices Act and reversion to the apprenticeship clauses under the old awards, -which were in operation prior to the Apprentices Act coming into force.
Officers were elected .as follows: President, Mr J, W, Graham (Christchurch); vice-president. Mr W. Bills (Dunedin).
The next annual conference will be held at Dunedin.
