AUTUMN FIXTURE OPENS IN FINE WEATHER.
The Autumn fixture of the Wooclville District Jockey Club opened yesterday in fine though dull weather. There hras a fair attendau'ce of the public •and the racing was interesting throughout: with a f number of close finishes. JPhe course was in perfect order after the recent rain and there were few "seratchings. The totalisator investments amounted to £4989, as compared with £843*2 for the corresonding day last year.
