Bullet Strikes Car
ALARMING INCIDENT ON HIGHWAY WHAKATANE, Nov. 21. While Mr. H. W. Brabant, who was accompanied by his wife, was motoring from Auckland last evening, the windscreen of his car was pierced by a smallcalibre bullet, apparently fired at close range. The bullet shattered the glass, which was lodged on Mr. Brabant’s face and clothes, and it evidently passed between Mr. Brabant and his wife, who occupied a front seat. The matter was later reported to the police at Paeroa.
