Canzoneri Still Lightweight Champion
POINTS WIN OVER KID CHOCOLATE Received Sunday 9.50 p.m. NEW YORK, Nov. 21. Canzoneri retained the lightweight: championship, defeating Kid Chocolate on points in fifteen rounds. It was a fine fight. Both put on a. magnificent show. For Chocolate the fight was unquestionably the best bout of his meteoric career, but the lightweight champion’s superb defence proved unbeatable. New Zealander Bobbed of Victory Received Sunday, 5.5 p.m. SYDNEY, Nov. 22. At the Stadium, Bert Malcolm, of Victoria (9.12) gained a points decision over the New Zealander, Jack Paul/ (10.1), though the critics contend Paul did most of the scoring and forcing.
