(Received This Day, 9.55 a.m.) ROME, Oct. 6. Smithy arrived at 5 p.m. DUE IN ENGLAND THIS EVENING. RETURN DASH STILL CONTEMPLATED. (Received .This Day, 10.5 a.m.) LONDON, Oct. 6. Kingsford Smith arrives at Heston at 5.30 on Wednesday afternoon. The arrangements for an early homeward dash ajre -unaltered. An Athens message says that Smithy’s health is much improved. NO ILL EFFECTS EN ROUTE. RETURN TRIP A WEEK LATER. (Received his Day, 11.20 a.m.) - ROME, Oct. 6. Kingsford Smith arrived at Rome, and stated that he was gratified that he did not feel any ill effects during the trip, except some weakness, and that he hopes to be able to start on the return trip in a week, if medical advice does not forbid it.
