LONDON ITALIANS PLOT TO KILL MUSSOLINI.
CONFESSION OP A CONSPIEATOE Received Wednesday, 9.0 p.m. LONDON, May 27, The Daily Express Rome correspondent asserts that London is the centre of a carefully organised plot to assassinate Mussolini, associated with the arrest of Sehirru in February last. Cross-examined at the hospital, Sehirru confessed that the three ringleaders living in London supplied him with plans and money in order to kill Mussolini. Members of the Italian secret service sent to London substantiated Sehirru ; s declarations that a band of Italians in London were working to kill the Duce at all costs. If Sehirru failed, the band was plotting to send an aeroplane to bomb Mussolini in his home. A pilot has been chosen for the task, and the machine and bombs are ready. The question is now raised as to whether these three leaders can be extradited.
