There was a sensation at Lourenco Marques In connection with the arrest of prominent men, mostly deportees from Portugal, allegedly concerned in the revolutionary movement. They include a barrister and a doctor. Some of the arrested were en route for Inhambane, where it is alleged they intended to recruit a native regiment to march on the capital.
