NAVAL OFFER TO FRANCE IS ON BRITISH LINES.

Italy has informed Britain that she is replying to France on similar lines to the British suggestions for a compromise—that Prance is entitled .to new naval construction after the 1935 Conference in accordance with • any agreement reached thereat, and that, failing such agreement, she would be bound by the clauses of the Treaty of London.
