At the Levin weekly stock sate yesterday, Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., offered medium yardings of sheep and cattle and a light entry of pigs to a fair attendance of the public. They quote as under: — Sheep.—Fat lambs, 11/-, 12/-; fat and forward ewes, 8/4; good woolly ewe hoggets, 12/2; Romney wether lambs, medium, 7/9; aged ewes, r.w.r., 3/5, 4/3, 4/6. Gattle. —Fat cows, £3, £3/5/-, £3/10/-; light fat heifers, £3/7/6; forward heifers, £2/12/6, £2/17/6, £2/19/-; store cows, 35/-, 37/6, to £2; Jersey weaner heifers, £2/5/-, £2/11/-; springing cows, £9/5/-, Pigs.—Weaners, 13/6; light porkers, 25/-, 27/-; medium porkers, 35/-, 37/-.
