STRUCK OFF FOR CONVERSION OF TRUST MONEYS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The Court of Appeal this morning made orders striking John Llewellyn Charles Merton, of Palmerston North, barrister and solicitor, and Leslie Bruce Gilfillan, of Hamilton, barrister and solicitor, off the rolls of 'barristers and solicitors of the Dominion. Neither of tha practitioners was represented, and the orders were made on the application of Mr H. F. Haast, counsel for the _Law Society. The ground alleged against each practitioner was the Same, that of converting trust moneys to his own use. Costs £ls 15s were allowed in both cases.
