The Daily Telegraph's aviation correspondent reveals that the Belgian order for British military pianos was given after a remarkable test. Mr. Fairey, during negotiations, told the Belgians that his single-seater could pinnge vertically earthward from an altitude of 20,000 feet at the rate of 380 miles an hour and then safely pull up out of the dive, ( This amazing test successfully carried out. Our foreign competitors refused a challenge to do likewise, and the order was given to Britain.
