JAPAN AND THE SOVIET.
CRISIS NEARING IN FISHERIES • DISPUTE. (By Telegraph-Press Assn.-Copyright.) '(Received This Day. 10.45 a.m.) TOKIO, Feb. 18. The Japan-Soviet fisheries dispute is rapidly approaching a crisis. Vladivostok has notified the companies that the time has expired for licenses, and that no further applications will be entertained. The Tokio Government has sent a strong protest to Moscow, requesting the Soviet to consider the dispute in the light of their action considered as a breach of the treaty.
